For anyone wondering about the OP's price vs the new price, I just lucked out finding this exact unit at a spring open house special marked down to $4750 (for the one they had in the showroom). I asked what it would cost to get another just like it if someone else bought that one before I decided to and was told "$5,300".

Under three grand for a mower of this quality is a good price.

Can't resist giving this a shout out!
I own one of these and for anyone considering a 36" mower that won't trust a single hydro, this is iT! Quality of cut is very good, mower is solid and reliable! The price won't be seen again for any comparable unit.
