So I picked up a STIHL FS70 today and I really like it. It meets my needs perfrcty & I'm hoping it will last me a very long time! I bought the extended warranty that came with the oil. Now all I have to do is get used to the straight shaft! I had a curved shaft before.

Wow, 6oz...not hardly the huge weight difference someone posted. This amount is removed when guard or guide wheel is removed from trimmer or edger.

I didn't buy the KM130 for weight savings, I bought it for the power.

I think the Kombi is a nice tool to have but it should not replace a dedicated line trimmer.

I don,t have experience with either system but was looking into the PAS. I called ECHO with some questions and they said all PAS systems work with all attachments EXCEPT the bed redefiner, for that they only recommend the 280. On their website, they say the same thing when you click on the redefiner attachment. So you did good in not getting the PAS if you had thought of getting the redefiner, unless you were going to get the 280...which it did not sound you were looking at big.
