Eman, I'm not sure what your photos have to do with the subject of this thread - material color and planting design.

Would you like help starting a new thread?

I agree RJ.

I also like the look in the last pic. Wood and stone are a rustic combination.

I better go, promised to soak down the pool we shot yesterday while the customers are away for the evening.

RJ......

Was that a reference to "Regulators." ???????

"REGULATORS!!!!!!!! Mount Up!"

Has anybody heard anything about that Paver Pete and Warren G collaboration?

I think it is titled.... "Greek Ghetto."

Anyway........

You know what I don't like? I don't like the broad term ... "Gravel."

Can we, as a community of like minded individuals, make an agreement to use specific names for the stone that we are referring to?

Round #2's...

River Rock....

1a's....

Decorative Stone

Crusher Run....

Thanks guys.... I don't know why but using the word "Gravel" for an all encompassing way to describe the subject just irks me.... Selfish? I'm not sure.....

Perhaps it's because according to Hotchkiss, I am considered to be a narcissist.

DVS - as to the original comments... The block may be dull - but if its what the customer wanted who's to say its bad. If they are pleased with it - then thats all good. And the plantings... well I stay out of that. I'm purely a hardscaper - green stuff is up to someone else.

As for the cutting quality etc... Eman, your stuff looks great (as far as cutting goes) Some of the wall design I'm not a huge fan of. Mostly the stuff with the uprights with spaces in-between. Other than that - nice work.
