Dang....i burned my lawn

Well, this year I've been working to improve the quality of my lawn. I purchased a reel mower and started using it, along with more fertilizer. Its a common Bermuda, and I over seeded with Sahara seed. It was doing well. I was mowing every 2 to 3 days, but didn't have a bagger. I ordered one, and it came in today, so I lowered my reel mower down another notch and mowed the lawn today. I guess lowering it down was a mistake, because now it looks like it was scalped. I watered heavily today, and will fertilize again in a day or so. For the moment, I want to just give it chance to recover. Im going to keep the height where it is (about 3/4 of an inch) and mow every other day.

Anything else that I need to do to bring it back green? Its filled in nicely since I aerated and overseeded in the spring. Sorry I don't have any pics uploaded, but with taking care of everybody elses lawn, ours hasn't been much to brag about.

I still haven't done the sand treatment, so I guess I may try that next spring. For now, I just want to keep it growing and getting thicker.

Bermuda has all the green at the top. It will green up by itself if a few days. I don't think you could hurt it if you used the flame thrower attachment.

Will produce a green color without compromising the flush of overgrowth.

Bermuda lawns that I maintain.......will get one app of this product during the hottest time of the season or in August for me. I am not having too much trouble this season with color as we have had rains at least once per week.
Nothing like mother nature's nutrient rich, sea salt down pours.

Yes, the color of bermuda is in the crown foliage. After you get the height you choose, keep it there at that height. 1/3 of the blade tip cut off each mowing is sufficient.
