Dead Battery Dixie Chopper

OEM Battery about 6 year old. Local dealer support is not an option.
Got the call from the guys it won't start after sitting about a week except to move off the trailer yesterday.

What is the best replacement battery for this unit. Did not see it in the manual.

Dixie Chopper XG2503 Quad Loop Gererac

Recently( last 3 months) hauled 60 miles to have the govenor linkage replaced and they tuned it up and other minor maintenance service. I can look over the linkage and such. What else should I look for at this time. About 1200 hours on it.

Nothing but service maintenance on the unit. No PM's done.

I'll add a second part to the question. I think I found some replacment battery options.
Do I want or need the higher cold cranking amps? The machine has never been hard to start.

Go to an auto parts store that offers free replacement on there bateries and buy the cheapest one...

Match the cranking amps, make sure it fits in the battery box and get back to work. One thing I have learned is k.i.s.s. (keep it simple, stupid)

I used to always want more CCA blah blah. Wasn't and still isn't worth it.

275 to 300 cca will hold up...
The more cca...the thicker the lead plates in the battery...
Autoparts stores are usually the best place to buy batteries..
They can check it properly if it ever fails...

All mine are from AZ with no problems. They do have a pretty good bench load tester too. I like them for the bonus card 20 bucks for every 100 you buy in 20 dollar minimums. I go to NAPA if its an electronic item though.
