We use poly-coated lesco 14-14-14 on a somewhat lower spreader setting for centipede lawns. Basically is osmicote-like in behavior. Always seems to work most excellent and no brown patch. Only drawback is its very expensive fertilizer, but we don't have very many centipede lawns and since we don't put it out heavy anyhow, the bags last a good while and we don't end up having to buy as much of it and it stores relatively well since its poly-coated. I know its not a liquid suggestion, but still something you may want to look into.
