Returning it wasn't a problem, BUT, the company deducts $30 from how much you paid for it ($399) and only gave me back $369. Apparently they don't refund you how much it cost them to ship it to you ($30).

Nowhere did I see that it was $369 + $30 non-refundable shipping cost. Their website says $399 shipped.

It cost ME $30 to ship it back to them via USPS. So in essence I'm only getting back $339 of the $399 I paid for it.

If you think that this is all fair well then I think you need to get yourself more familiar with today's e-commerce world. The days of not getting a full refund are long gone.

It's a fine product...easy to install and everything. But their return policy stinks IMO.

So you returned a working product because your short and have a bad knee. Puffer can't sell it as new, so they're out that money. You'd also like them to take a hit on shipping? Am I missing something?

I spoke to them on the phone. I think it was mark, but I'm not sure anymore. What I do remember is that he was a great guy that went out of his way to answer all my questions and ship the air ride the same day. He made it pretty clear that if this didn't work out for me he'd take it back. I don't think I'd be upset if I had to pay shipping both ways on something that worked, but just not for me.

I must clarify that I don't have a problem to pay the return shipping costs.

Not getting a full refund of $399 is what I have a problem with.

If you don't like what I think, ICGARA.

This is just a heads up for those considering a purchase.

Also, unless your ZTR has handles that can be adjusted really high, you will need some sort of extension.

I must have some special/magical mower. I didn't have to adjust the handles at all.

I don't know fuzzy and I'm not associated with puffer in any way. It just irritates when people try to trash a good product over their own personal problems.

If you don't like it send it back. I'll give you 100% cash back. You'll only be out the cost to ship it back. So I placed my order, should be here by the weekend. Planning to start next week out using it.
I would have to agree with 1striper1.

If this is truly what they said. And I have no reason to doubt that it is.

I read countless posts that said the same thing. But it is not what happens.

Oh well, I have moved on......
