What to look for when buying a used belt drive mower?
Quick question, What should look out for when buying a used 36 belt drive mower? do you think this is a good price, or too good to be true? any help is much appreciated since I am really considering purchasing this mower.

GET IT YOUR CAR NOW AND GO GIVE THAT MAN 2000. That's a good price for a nice mower. When you drive it there shouldn't be any slippage. I.e going up small incline and mowers wheels stop turning but but belts do. It looks mine, now get in your truck. Start off at 15, if he's moving he's desperate.

I'm with LandFakers on this one. That mower looks like a good deal and you can probably get him to come down a little, making it even sweeter. Start it, engage the blades and make sure it all sounds good and no excess vibration, as well as driving it and making sure the belts don't slip. If it is what it sounds like it is, that thing will last for YEARS.

Sent him an email and he will take $1,800 and this includes the grass catcher. Only 2 years old and maintenance was done by a dealer. Only used for his personal property.
