27hp Kawasaki carb issues..turf tiger

Hey guys I need some help. I have a 61in scag turf tiger with the 27hp Kawasaki motor. Fd750D to be exact. Well I went to cut the grass today and the mower started right up and ran fine. I shut it off and it would not start back up choke on or off..nothing. It had a full tank of gas. I pulled the fuel line off the carb and turned the key on to make sure the fuel pump was working and sure enough it was working with good pressure as gas came shooting out. I the took the carb apart and cleaned it and reinstalled it. It started right up and idled great..for about 5 min or so and then it shut off and wouldn't restart. I took the carb back off and cleaned it again..it then started right up like before ran good for about 5min and then shut off and wouldn't restart. That's where I'm at now. The only thing I could possible think is when I took the carb off the float pin fell out and the float itself..could I of maybe put the float in wrong or upside down? Looks to be in there right but idk.. The fuel filter has never been changed, but like I said gas flows good. Any ideas? The mower has always ran like a top. Let me k ow what u guys think. Thanks!

A couple possabilities come to my mind...

Check for a clogged fuel cap vent.

Any signs of water when you pulled the float bowl?

no signs of water in the float bowl..what do you mean by fuel vent cap? Gas is flowing to the carb..

I would try fuel filter. And ck the fuel shut off as well for debris. I had a similar issue. But it would run for a tad longer

It is a TurfTiger...check for melted fuse holders..
Perhaps intermittent power to the fuel solenoid..

So after letting it sit over night, yesterday i went home and tried to start it and it started up fine..seems to be running good. Idk. Im going to drain the fuel completely and replace the fuel filter.

I will check the fuse holder, but i think i have already looked and they look to be fine.
