Tow package?

That's something they put on a truck at the factory. Some factory options can be added at the dealer later.
Sorry about the confusion. As for ownership of the vehicle, it use to belong to my brother up until last year. He bought it new back in late 2000, and sold it to our boss shortly after our company started doing lawn care. In a nutshell, our boss owns the truck, but he allows us to make any alterations as we feel the need to do so. All he asks is that we make sure he's okay with us doing whatever to it before we proceed since he ends up paying us back if/when we spend any money on it.

About the "tow package", I think that was the wrong term used. It has everything set for it except for the hitch that should be mounted to the frame of the truck. The only hitch it has right now is a ball hitch that's bolted to the bumper. Towing a trailer with that one would just rip the bumper off the back of the truck, so we need to get the proper one installed. I hope that helps to clarify.

One of these days, I'll actually learn how to weld, and replace all this "hillbilly rigged" wood stuff with something more professional looking

LMAO ... That's friggin comedy, but I know what you mean. The sad thing is it's true. I'll be the first to admit it.

Can you maybe take a quick photography class? Very few people on this site take decent pictures. Is there a reason we can't see the whole truck? I don't even know what I looking at...my eyes hurt.

My computer started playing the theme song from the 'Beverly Hillbillys". Hey, is your boss named "Jed Clampitt", by any chance. Jed had a truck that looked a lot like that.

Sorry about that. Oaknut wanted to see pics, and it was too dark outside to take pics showing everything properly. Had to rely on camera flash for any sort of light, so close-up shots was all I could get.
