My main guy only does Efco. He does Toro mowers and snow equip too.
I mainly go there for repairs/tune ups and not for new stuff.

I also have a local dealer that deals with Stihl. It would not bother me to go that route either. I want a light blower, easy to start. Not interested in a heavy beast. Note I am wanting a handheld not a backpack.

Given those 2 choices, I would go with the Efco. Here are the specs for the Efco SA2026:

Weight: 9.4lb
Power: 1.2hp
Air Volume: 410cfm
Air Speed: 166mph

Here are the specs for the Stihl BG55:

Weight: 9lb
Power: 0.9hp
Air Volume: 418cfm
Air Speed: 140mph

IMO, the Efco wins the comparison. Plus, you have a good dealer to service it.

The Husqvarna service guy is just 200 yards from Lowes. Well it is what it is I guess.

Quick question DA. Why would you not want to put real gas in your machines?
The farmers have been duped by the government and the oil men. And now our average food costs have skyrocketed. Within a year or 2, me and you won't be able to afford a pound of strawberries, a dozen ears of corn or a bag of oatmeal.
