didn't see this sooner. the vantage and grandstand are THE SAME MACHINE except for the deck so they are equally mechanically sound.

I own a grandstand but I've had a vantage twice now as a loaner while my grandstand was in the shop. the only real difference I found was the decks which both provide excellent cuts anyway.

I don't know. in the 6 years I've been in business I've always paid cash for all equipment. I've never financed anything.

I was the same, but being smart, using someone elses money to purchase your equipment is a good idea. Not only do you get the purchase as a write off but any interest you may pay on those purchases as well.
