Honda GXV620 Vert. Shaft size
Does anyone know if they make this motor with a shaft size other than 1". Found a good deal on one, but the owner insists that the shaft size is the larger 1 1/8" x 4". I can't find anywhere that says it is anything other than 1"x3 5/32". Can anyone confirm this?

What is the type number of the engine. I could look up what shaft it has with that. It will be 2-4 digits. Like QA or QX2 or QXE2. If its shorter than 4 they put *'s at the end.

Here is the badge from the box on the second picture. Other than that, I don't have any more info.

There was a Honda GXV620K1 with a 1.125 diameter shaft, called a "t-type" engine. Most of the GXV620's were 1.0 inch shafts...

I would trust robert knows his stuff. He says T= 1.125" shaft so the engine you found on craigslist is the 1.125" shaft.
The first digit in the type is the shaft information. Yours is a TAE2 so looks like you will need to keep looking. Also just so you know that engine wont include an exhaust. Not sure what you plan to put it on but dont forget to figure in that when finding a "deal". |

Didn't see the serial number tag in the craigslisting...sure enough, that serial number is confirmed to have a 1.125" crankshaft. That engine was wholesaled on 4/30/2009, and had a 3-year warranty, which has expired this spring. FYI.
