Dealer demo days?

I was just wondering if any of your guys dealers do a demo days of all the equipment they sell? I talking maybe they have a couple ztr, walkbehinds, and standers with some of there handheld equipment so guys could see how it all runs. My dealer had something like this with skid steers a couple years ago but nothing with the lawn equipment. I think this would be a nice idea!

My dealer has one usually the first week of March every year. He will have some specials on equipment for that day only. He also has specials on accesories like string and oil mix. He also will have factory reps for Scag, Walker, Stihl and RedMax on hand for demos. He also feeds us some great Memphis Barbeque!!

There's a dealer in a town I cut in that rents the fair grounds and puts on a demo day kind of thing. He also has a course set up to run a ztr through to see how fast you can run the course. They use a Scag TT as the mower.

A dealer I used to deal with rented a part of a park and did the same thing. I am possibly going to work for the local Deere dealer and I am thinking of ways I can boost there sales. I will be selling all mowers, handhelds equipment, skid steers, compact tractor and hay equipment as well as gators. I am thinking something like a demo days would work great. Serve a simple lunch and have so of the new equipment to try out. I hope I get the job and then I can look into this some more.
