look at the :30 second mark. not sure what will happen with the house as far as rebuilding but its all a little sobering while running the rat race. Its strange upsetting to think I've been in that house and know those neighbors.

That 1x1 square of bluestone on the corner of the rock garden really ties it all together. Absolutely amazing.

Yea i had it left over and she wanted it, i guess for that. Glad to see you didn't miss the big picture though

my buddy lives down that way and watched his house go into the ocean. He and his family evacuated to his in-laws. The news was showing his neighbors house that had fallen in earlier in the day. He could see about 4' of the corner of his house in the corner of the frame, then his house slowly moved off of the screen. The camera panned over just in time to watch the house go.

I am glad that you did not get hurt when demolishing the structure.

The moment I saw the blocks without mortar I thought that the best bet was going to be to remove the upper slab intermediately.....

Like other people said, always go from top to bottom.

Sad to see the house burned. It is sad when you know the people going through these hardships....
