sharpening mulching blades has a lot to do with what the blade rests on while you move it across the wheel. if its wide, which most grinders plates are, you cant move the cutting edge correctly. You can buy a magnamatic, or make your own rest plate which would need to be thinner than your wheel to work the best.

BTW, I have two grinders, one of which is for sale.Hundred bucks or best offer.
By the time you can make ends meet....They move the ends.

Rodfather, I think I have the same grinder as you. The model number is 88-021. Only it was around $550. Its a decent grinder that sharpens blades fast. Could use a few design changes though.
