This is just what happened here last last year--late frost and a see-saw battle of chilly and warm with long dry spells. Adds up to stunting the warm season grasses. Lucky that we have weeds to cut

I was watching the radar the other night and I was able to Identify that big mother on the normal local(your local) radar, You could see the rotation and the eye was the pink color, I've seen that twice and both times I found out after that it was tornado's. I'm glad we aren't getting those.
Watch your back, i think its going to be a big year for tornado's

I hope you get some good weather up there so you can get rolling. Nothing worse than a feeling of being behind. That causes sleepless nights and undo stress on you. Today we had storms in the morning, cleared for the afternoon, more storms right now.

here I go again this morning COLD rain and snow on the way, possibly several inches by morning.
I"M READY FOR SPRING!!!!!!
I know what you mean. we did some cleanups yesterday and today it's rain and snow. Now have to wait a day or 2 for it to dry back out

here's my trick when I'm caught between tons of work, weather, and bids: don't give any more bids until you get your work already accepted done! when I get busy, I give one bid in the morning on my way out and / or one in the evening on my way home <- that's all they get, if I'm that busy, accepted estimates take priority one. If push comes to shove and it gets even worse than that, I stop giving bids so I can get my work done and until my work is done - regular customers first, everyone else waits, yes indefinitely if need be (but rest assured it doesn't work like that for too long lol).
If it helps, don't answer the phone for some time. Let the answering machine take the msgs, give bids if you can but regulars / accepted bids absolute first, always.
There's been times I turn the phone off just so I can't hear it ringing (only when I'm that busy). skru it, work gotta get done.
You got to do it, I know it sounds wrong, but take care of what you got first, no matter what.

Me, too... One t-storm a week ago, little rain last night, and another t-storm (hopefully) tonight.

everything's dusty and dry, this first week of april should've been rocking... I did manage to gross 750 so far this week, maybe 925 by tomorrow... Not shabby, but usually this time of year I gross a MINIMUM of 1,000 / week (adds up to 5k / month so closer to 1.2k / week).

It's even got to the point I'm accepting dirty jobs (thou at a good price vs. for cheap), and the only thing calms me is it's not as dirty of a job as what I see some of the other guys doing, but dirty is dirty. I said I wouldn't, dang it, it never fails.

yes, this weather sux.

I hear what your saying about playing catch up, I'm really hoping the forcasting is right for this next week, 60s and sun for 4 days will work wonders on the schedule
