Purchasing JD Z910A with 8 bushel MCS...please post experiences with this ZTR/MCS

Here's my situation. Mowing 1 acre every 5 days or so. Bermuda hybrid. Usually dry. Pretty flat with sloped hills on each side of the house. After driving the Hustler X-One, Exmark Lazer Z, Bad Boy, JD 910, I've decided.
Purchasing JD Z910A with 8 bushel MCS...please post experiences with this ZTR with or without the MCS. I am worried that the 910A will now have enough power to operate the MCS. Anyone bought the 910 and wished/traded it back for 920 or bigger?

Thanks,

John.

If you buy the 910 and MCS and then find it is a bit short on power, for about $35 bucks or less you can buy a different throttle plate and associated parts, and swap them out to get the same exact HP as a 920. The only difference between them is in how far the throttle plate assembly opens. There are several posts in a couple different threads here on LS on this subject along with instructions on how to do it and what kind of performance the owners got after the swap. IIRC, it took about an hours time to do the entire swap out and start it up. Check this forum, and the mechanic and repair forum for those threads.

There was a guy not too long ago in the homeowners forum that bought a Z910 and MCS. He not only posted his experiences with it, he also posted in the threads I mentioned above about swapping his throttle plate.
