Are great business people born or can it be taught/learned??

my father was known as a great manager in the business he was in but always worked for others and was probably to cautious in not starting his own business and also in investing and i believe through my up bringing he has passed some of this cautiousness on to me but not all as i do have my own business
also my wifes grandfather could build/repair anything but couldn't keep a $ in his wallet her father (this guys only son) on the other hand can't nail 2 pieces of wood together without splitting them but is a multi millionaire

yeah thats why my dad said u cant do anything with out that paper on the wall (college degree) thats why i settled at a vocational high school for horticulture and turf management because thats where the big $$$$$$ comes in you cant even sweep floors as a janitor without a high school diploma
