Lighting Question

I have just finished building a patio with sitting wall and fire pit...I have three lights on the wall but are barely visible from the road due to the way the wall is turned. Should I add more lights to the fire pit? Should I add uplighting on a tree or what?

How do you down light? Do you light the entire patio? It won't be too much?

I would look up into the big tree on the right and see if you could install a light up in that tree 20-30' and light up the patio, giving it the moonlight effect. Not a bright light, just enough to make it pop. I'm sure other will chime in. As they have posted pictures of downlighting on here in the past
