Help: Need advice on lawn that was seeded too thickly
I am hoping that some experienced hands can give me advice on how to get a lawn that was seeded too heavily in the fall healthy for spring. The grass is basically chocking itself out for nutrients, etc. at this point and is spindly and yellowing. What can be done to help remedy the situation?
Thanks in advance |

Yellowing could mean too wet and too cool for the plants to utilize the available nutrients... the strong will survive and the overcrowded weak will perish and their dead bodies will be recycled into OM nutrient source for the others...
Feed the lawn N when it is ACTIVELY Growing and let the chips fall where they may... We have lawns that are SO THICK that no weeds stand a chance and the lawn does great,,, year after year... Give it TIME...

Hollow tine aeration with a tight as possible pattern, multiple time's. Grass plant's are tough, don't be afraid to beat on them.
