36rh blade setup

I'm running a 2007 36rh with mulch plate. Haven't been real happy with the cut quality. Having to make a lot of double passes where I shouldn't. Right now I'm running gator style blades with a single spacer in between the blade and spindle. Tried double spacers but thought that put the blade too low. Any suggestions on best blade type / setup for use with the mulch plate? Thanks

rosenlawnservice,

Gator style blades are not meant for use in mulch systems, they are for side discharge mulching. A wave style mulch blade would be better, part number 71490002 is the 18" wave style blade available thru out dealers.

Best Regards,
Wright Mfg.
