how many shirts do you give a worker?

is there a rule of thumb? i give 3. let 'em do some laundry every 3 days..

i was told i'd have to pay for more, when i worked with a previous employer, years ago. is that nuts?

Depends on how many days they work. My fulltimer gets 7 part timers get no less than 3.

For a five day workweek, 3-4 shirts should be enough.

One per day, so 5 for the week and they can do wash on the weekend.
We are talking about $50.00 here so That is worth them having a new one and wearing it each day.

BUT if I have to ride with them in the truck I may give a few a day

SIX, as that way they have a fresh one each and it also gives them an extra as we work 5 days a week.

I give my guys 6, sometimes we work long and late enough that my guys dont wanta do laundry till the weekend, so that gives them one for each day and also if we work sat. they have one. also i make them turn in one shirt for a replacement twice a year, that way they can get rid of their worst looking shirt (stained, torn, etc) helps on the rag bag and helps the image look better.

I give 6. I don't know about the rest of you but I can go through three in a day because of dirt and sweat. One in the morning, one at lunch and one mid afternoon.

My full timers get 5 why have them wear something else on you job thats representing you, some guy's have to go to the laundry mat on the weekends to do their shirt's
