Driving a ZTR with one hand?

Any one find it easier to drive a Z with one hand? I mean one hand holding both control arms. I've been practicing on my yard and I am a lot better/faster with one hand. The levers are so delicate I find when I use two hands I make the mower jump or twitch which could lead to torn turf.

What is the ZTR?

I am different with the levers. I am right handed and place my left hand on high on the top of the levers where the two meet. I hold my thumb over them so I can feel when they are exactly lined up for a nice straight line. The right hand it placed on the side of the right lever for control.

Learned years ago that way and have been to stubborn that change to something else.

I operate my Dixie all day long with one hand. Been doing it for years.

It's a Lazer Z. When I tried it I couldn't believe how much easier it was. I can make 180 turn or even Y turns with one hand but can't do it good with two hands (yet). Guess I can continue with one hand so I can eat sun flower seeds with the other LoL
