The most I have paid so far this season is $2.129 a gallon. When I turned 16 a little over 5 years ago I paid $1.089 per gallon for my first fill up. The least amount I have ever paid is $0.999 per gallon. If I don't have to pay more than $2.359 per gallon this season, i will consider myself lucky.

I paid $2.19 here in PA today. I would love to think that is the peak, but I really doubt it.

Gas is not that expensive! Yes it seems like it but how much does a gallon of milk cost?, or a gallon of water? Gas is a finite natural resorce. In europe it is $4.00- 6.00 per gallon.

Paid a $1.97 per gallon today here in OKC. We must be lucky. It had been as high as $2.20 about 10 days ago but for some reason has slowly declined since then.

wanna bet ????????????

Gas was up to $2.44 here two weeks ago. It has been jumpin up and down almost every other day between 10-20 cents, but slowly falling. Today its at $2.00!! There is a very good chance it will go under 2 bucks before it rises again!!

Supposedly alot of the crude was going into #2 fuel oil and that with the winter there was a demand for that. Maybe with spring coming now they want have that exscuse and prices could ease a little. The next chapter in the soap opera of gas prices will be the increased demand with holiday travel now that winter is over and people want to get out and vacation

Suppose I should have taken the wager, but I don't gamble. However we all win if we can see it keep dropping.

Where? It hasn't been under 2 bucks for a long time. They always jack it way up and then drop it some. Not to where it was but a little higher. We are all happy then cause we aren't paying 40-60 cents per gallon then but they are happy because they are getting 10-30 cents more than a year ago.

Thumbs up

Its not easy bein in the service industry, but what the hay thats how we make our income. Our gas is $2.29 avg. per gal. I know its up at least 35 cents from last year?....Anybody think we can add a gas surcharge to our yearly contracts?....Think I'm gonna try it for new customers and for next year, maybe $5,bucks see how that flys?...any thoughts?..........
