Columns for arbor

A client stated that they want an arbor erected with EP henry wallstone columns. I will building them to an 8' height x 14' across. I would like to know should the blocks be placed back to back supported by concrete, keep blocks separate with a space in back (like a square straw) with concrete in the void, or would a steel structure in the void be a better idea. Just not sure. Thanks for your input.

Frame it with wood frame rebar reinforcement, pour your concrete into the frames, then face it with the stone is what I suggest to you.Your question needs to be stated abit more clearly and more detailed to envision what your going to be doing.
