Screed Poles

What do you use or where can I find some screed poles? I'm fairly new to the game so if you could help me out I would appreciate it....thanks!

you can use pvc piping from home depot or lowes

and also what's the best wood to use to level off the screed poles.....cedar?? Something that doesn't worp over time.

3/4 and 1in.... black gas line? ....pipes in 4' and 10' lengths.

Black gas pipe or galvanized pipe works the best

I use a piece of 1x4 aluminium rectangulat tube, 12 feet long across the screed poles. Nice and straight after sitting in the rain.

Use the black steel gas pipes w/ 1" od, just as the others said. DO NOT use pvc conduit as it will bend and flex. We use magnesium screed boards. They are light, straight as an arrow and very consistant.
