Steiner 220 dies when hot

I have a Steiner 220 that cuts off (just dies)when it gets hot. I can usually leave it sitting for a few minutes and it will start and run fine again. It may continue to run ok for 15 or 20 minutes, or it may run for hours without having another problem. I have replaced the coil, but it did not fix the problem. The strange thing is, that I had the same problem last summer, but during last Fall and up until last week had not had any problems with it cutting off. Last week, it did it again. Any suggestions?
