Hi dvmcmrhp52
A week is just the begining of the waiting.
Early last December I cleaned his gutters and received payment in February.
He writes off his home maintenance by having us put the bill in his office address.

If it is usually longer than 30 days...........B'bye.......

^^^^EXACTLY. I'd NEVER sweat a week. Heck I bill Monthly anyway. I take it you must be part-time if you are billing weekly? If so it may be that him having to write a check every week is a hassle. Switch him (and all clients) to Monthly and have him pay in advance if you think he still won't pay correctly.

Different story, and unacceptable.

Had one customer last year that liked to consistantly push it to 35 days for payment............... I caught him at home one day and confronted the issue...........he has been a great payer since and even added the cost of an extra cut at the end of the season as a bonus of sorts and said "thanks for the great service".

Confront it and see what happens.........be prepared to lose him wether on your terms or his.

By the way, welcome to Lawnsite.

Shoot, if that is all then I'd drop him like he's hot.

WOW He paid in 16 days after two invoices maybe he needs reminders.
Probably will end up doing clean up this fall and get paid in the middle of winter.
But thats when you sometimes need the money, if it does'nt snow!
