irrigated lawns
why is is that in the summer after the rain has slowed down that most of the irrigated lawns seem to dry out before the others even if they have plenty of shade

probably because the owners w/ irrigation water their lawns more often, which the grass, in turn, grows shallow roots, and so when it dries out, the grass isnt able to reach the moisture deeper in the soil. whereas the lawns that dont have irrigation have adapted to not having water and have had to grow deeper roots to survive the dryer season.
but thats just my opinion
