My mower won't go straight PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
I have a 32" belt drive encore mower that veers to the left when I try and go in a straight line. I have to hold the right break constantly for it to go in a straight line. Please help if you know how to fix this.

I'm having to think some 12yrs. back we sold encores and there was a connector sleeve that joined the belt drive axle to the transmission,In time the splines inside would wear and strip out and cause this problem. Just a guess !

many times its as simple as the tire pressure being a little too low on that one side

air pressure and belt tensions are the 2 most common reasons for this on these mowers.
now you know.

Were it a hydro drive, I'd say one drive motor is weak and needs to be replaced. I rode a ztr mower like that once, it was scary to say the least. it was a JD 727 or 715 if I remember right.
