oil filters from J-Thomas

we have some oil filters for a kohler engine that we puchased from j-thomas and when i looked at them they looked cheap I think they are made by Prolong. I put one on our 27 hp kohler with sythetic oil. Perhaps i should of stayed with OEM????
Are they decent filters??

thanks for the feedback mr dane. The aftermarkets filters dont seem to have that anti-backflow thing in the filter which was my concern Its somekind of spring you can see it when you look in the filter. Most OEM filters such as Kohler have them. The cheapeez dont.......but i guess i dont have to worry much.
