Just curious if anyone on here has used a Grounds Wheelie for applying pesticides and Fertilizer? I just bought one. It is really impressive. Puts out 1 gallon per 1000 sq ft at any speed. If so what type fertilizer do you use?
Thanks! Daren |

Thanks for your reply. What size wheels does unit have? Also, do you mix on site or just treat small lawns? Their info says 1000sq ft of coverage per 1 gallon of liquid. Are they any harder to push than a broadcast spreader? Darren...what model did you get and what is pricing on these units? Thanks for any and all replys. I am looking at spray options to improve my weed program without buying 200 gallon rig.

Well i bought the Grouns Wheelie ll 485. It has the large pnumatic tires it is easy to push. Havent really gotten to try it out yet, except putting water in it to see it work. I like it because it will put out 1000 sq ft per gallon at any speed. that way coverage is equal. I would like to use it for Fertilizer but still looking for some that will mix at the rate that it applies. most fertilize says to mix enough for 1k in 2 to 4 gallons of water. any ideas who may make such? Anyway thanks! By the way the price from the comopany is $585.00 plus $15.00 for shipping, luckily I bought my from a person on Ebay that deals with them and got a really good deal. Might try him. Email bhart70@earthlink.net.
