Briggs & Stratton question
I have a Briggs & Stratton 9hp Vanguard engine
Model 184532 Type 004601 Code 96051649 Since I bought it second hand, I have no operating instructions. When checking the oil, should I screw the dipstick right in or only insert as far as it will go without engaging the thread? Thanks for any advice dh500 |

Click on the link above then click on "Engine OM" under the heading "Owners Manuals". When the page comes up, enter your engine type in the blank at the top. You can then download a PDF of the OM for your engine. You can also get a parts manual. |
