Staying Cool
Just wondering if some of you have some "tricks" for staying cool in extreme weather that you have picked up through the years. I went to Wal-Mart and bought one of those ventilated seat cushions in the automotive department that were in common use back before all vehicles had air conditioning. (Yes, for some of you younger folk, cars and pickups didn't always come with air conditioning, or power steering and power brakes, for that matter!)
Putting it on the seat allows air to circulate underneath your posterior, which sure helps on hot days, and works especially well when there is a breeze, or you are running the mower against the wind. Might want to place an old towel or the like under it though, as the springs might have a tendency to rub a hole in the vinyl seat, given time. Neill

Get some water bottle. Fill it 3/4 the way full, and freeze. When you're ready to work, fill the rest with water. :-)

Move to the seacoast of New Hampshire where it has been cold and raining almost every dam day this season...
