Water Lilies Blooming

Woke up to see two of my Lilies blooming, always quite a site..check it out, now if my water hyacinth would ever bloom! thanks and happy ponding

a tip to get your water hycanith blooming - mix up some water soulable fertilizer in a 5 gallon bucket. float the plants in it for a day and they will bloom within a week.
you will notice after you put them back in your pond how dark the leaves became. after a week or so they will start to turn back to that lighter shade of green. give them another shot of fertilizer when this happens. usually i do this every other week.
in most ponds, there is just not enough nutrients to make them bloom
