I have 1 but a friend of mine who is a lawn Docotor has about 5 of them and swears by them. I will say they are great for small lawns. Put a fan tipped nozzle on and you are in for low budget.

I got the heavy duty unit earlier this spring. I have had some pinching of the hose inside the unit which alters the pressure. It seems like that portion could have been designed differently. It leaks on me occasionally which would keep me from ever using and non-selective products in it. I am pleased with it for the most part. It is a real load to carry I will tell you that. I also find that I find spot spraying tricky with it. Even at the low pressure setting and a cone type nozzel, you get alot of misting. I try to be very careful in these situations. If you are broadcasting in the open with a wide high flow nozzel it works quite well.

Hope this helps.

I have seen the lesser model cheap at harbor freight fyi.

I'm working on a insert for a existing SP type back back sprayer that will house a pump and battery , designed for a quick change of either battery and pump of your choice .
There's enough space below the tank for the insert .
Is this something you would buy , do you get the picture ??

I have a both an Sp and a Rocket, I was refering to the Rocket. I can not post a link, it is not found on the Rocket sprayer site. The owner told me about it when I was talking to him about the one advertized. It has a much better pump, and is capeable of higher pressures for tree spraying and such. An add on pump and battery combo would be nice, I would consider such an item, but have been planning on making a mount for my Rocket sprayer that will fit on my Wright Stander for quick spraying of back yards and such.

Let me know how you proceed.
