Other than a plastic bag, they appear to be the same as the Lesco service center carries.

If you choked a Smurf, what color would it turn?

I'd give my right hand , if I could be ambidextrous!

I asked my LESCO man about this today. Yep, only it's smaller bags and not in the variety you'll get at the warehouse.
I got the impression that its a special "Home-owner" formula for Home-Cheapo.
He didnt seem real impressed/enthusiastic.
Nothing groundbreaking.

Too bad.
Home Cheapo is 15 miles(+/-) closer to me!!!

I would'nt give up my LESCO man anyway!

How could it a different blend? If it has the same ingredients would it not be the same? Could it be in a different "strength" at Home Cheapo? I just noticed that it is about half the cost of the Scott's that they sell.

lesco at home depot

How do all of you feel, now that Home Depot and Lesco have begun to sell the product in a mass merchandise store. Talk about kicking the Lawn Care Professional in the knee by offering Joe Schmoe home owner the same product as We provide thru our contacts and sources. How is the Lawn Care Industry going to react if we get black-eyed by persons applying these chemicals who would be posing as liscenessed applicators. Persons uncertified applying pesticides doesn't sound very smart from a commercial standpoint. Don't tell me that Home Depot will check certifications, I can't see it.

I agree with you Greens Keeper but the local Lesco does not check licenses either unless you are buying RUPs. We have to self regulate our industry. Help out guys who need to get certified, tell them how to do it or turn them in. The commercial pesticide dealers are not in charge of regulation, they are there to make a profit, just as we are.

Does anybody know if the Hope Depot's on the west coast will start carrying Lesco? We don't have any Lesco stores out here. Nobody uses Lesco anything here. Just curious as to what all the fuss is about with Lesco.

I wonder what all the fuss is about Lesco also.

I just get my fertilizer at my local feed store for dramatically less than anywhere else.

I use 19-19-19 religiously and have a great lawn.

I used to use Lesco all the time. Last year switched to a cheaper brand. This year back to Lesco. More consistent quality esp in the slow release blends. Got tired of mowing foot high grass every week from a supposedly 50% SCU blend. The Lesco will keep the lawn dark green but not cause such tall growth that my work is doubled.

The straight fert at HD is the same, but the Pre-M and dimension blends are watered down at HD and more expensive also.
