Vinyl post lights..opinons on these....

Does anyone have any experience with these particualr lights?

http://www.hooverfence.com/vinyl_fen...ge-cc-caps.htm

I have to replace the railings on our front porch. I will have 6 white vinyl half heigth posts that I want to put lights on top of. There will also be 5 full height posts.

I tried to sketch this in "paint" but I'm no artist. There will also be two half height posts where the end railings turn back and meets the house. This drawing is not to scale, the distance between the full posts to the left of the door is about 11 feet each.

Is there a better light for this?

Bob, I have never seen them I'm sorry. Have you been able to get any more information about these lights? A 4 watt bulb is not very bright, but maybe a brighter bulb might be a glare at the top of a post or rail.

I'm a little concerned about the 4 watt bulbs too. But it appears that they use the standard bayonet style bulbs that I can replace with 11 watt or 18 watt. I already have a transformer that can power all six lights with 18 watt bulbs.

Chuckers...How long have you had these lights? Have they held up well? Is the 4 watt bulb enough?
