It took time for me to accept this myself, but over the years I've become less concerned about actual copying, part of what helped me deal with it is the realization that a copy is the most sincere form of flattery. Today, someone copies parts or even whole sections of my site, I take it as a compliment someone thought it was SO good it deserved to be copied
Heck, half the time it's just someone's 8-year old kid fooling around a bit, they wanted to build a Web site or something... ................................................................................................:wav ing: Thank you Topsites I had never thought of it like that, But it does make me feel better thinking that way... I've seen a few graphics sites that occassionally rename a file and put one of their own advertisement images into the old file name. So if someone hotlinks to their image at thier server, it deposits an advertisement for them on other sites.
Or, I guess you could put an image of someone "mooning" into the old file name.
