Did I throw money away?

Last Thursday I plugged my yard and over seeded. However, it seems as though we have went into another drought. Also it has been a bit cool at night and through out the day. Now this week the temperature is starting to get above 60 degrees during the day. Also heavy dew is present in the mourning. Question is, will the seed still germinate fine?

seed may take up to two weeks to germinate, keep soil moist and hope for good temps.

Definitely keep it CONSISTENTLY damp. What is more so, is after you have germination, then you REALLY have to keep it moist for the new grass to take and live.Otherwise, it will just wilt and die. Once it germinates then dies...it's gone forever.

Thanks

Hey thanks guys for the input. I have been watering some today. However, a lot of my yard I cant get to with a hose because of it being so big. I'm praying we get rain in the near future. The temps are just right but no moistiure.
