Gus-
We don't own our own aerators so we have to rent.. We rent ryan's they seem to work well for us. Havn't used any others. We always try to aerate when the ground is a little moist not wet. If you try to do it when the ground is dry it's like having a jackhammer on each arm and it doesn't plug as well.
As for pricing, we average 3x the price of cutting plus the cost to rent the machine. The key is to rent the machine for a day and line up 4-5 jobs and charge each for the rental. They don't have to know your doing other jobs.
Hope this helps
Mike
Greenkeepes
