I bit the bullet and purchased Quickbooks Pro. I have been working with it all weekend long. Somethings are going great and some are not. I have a lot of questions and I know that a bunch of you guys and gals use this program to help you in your buisness. I need some one on one help. If anyone would reply with suggestion or helpful tips. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mark,
Go to the QuickBooks web site to find an advisor in your area. I did and it worked out great. Go to quickbooks.com, click on Support. There will be a culumn on the right side of the page of 4 boxes. One of those boxes will be labeled Accounting Advice, in that box click on QuickBooks Professional Advisor. This will take you to a page where all you do is punch in your zip code and it will locate an advisor in your area. This worked for me. I'm not an accountant, I mow lawns. He hepled set up everything for me. At the end of the year I back up the information on a disc and give it to him so he can do my income taxes. Good Luck

Bought QBP this year, too. In fact, just finished our 2nd month of billing on it. Don't be afraid to hit the "How do I?" button where ever you are. Also, play with it! Spend and hour or so just going in and out of the different areas and functions. I just figured out a little short cut...go into "customers" navigator, and then into "customer center". From there you can go into each of you customer's files and recieve payments, invoice, do bids, etc. Any specific questions, e-mail me at dkytfd@hotmail.com!! QBP sure beats the heck out of doing everything by hand!!!
