Tip Of The Day - 11/28/05 - Persistence

A great quote from Calvin Coolidge...

"Nothing can take the place of persistence - talent will not; nothing is more common that unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."

Resolve in advance that you will never give up - no matter what happens.

Persistance and never giving up...

Persistance is getting back up onto your feet after falling down. It seems as if a lot of people fall down and think that they've failed, but failure isn't about falling down. Failure is when you fall down and stay down.

Failure is not negative

We see how people fail and complain all the time, even a lifetime, about what went wrong.

Failure = Learning opportunity

Failure are learning experiences and must be treated as such. Do not underestimate the problem, but learn as much as possible from it.
Do not blame people sometimes, look at yourself and stop blaming others; lots of times, mistakes are made because of you.
