Tip Of The Day - 12/14/05 - Giving Back
This may not be for everyone, but something to think about...
Ever hear of a high school graduate coming back to their school and sponsoring or providing a scholarship in their name? Definitely a great way to give back, promote particular kinds of accomplishments in the younger generation in your community, and certainly a way to create a legacy for yourself as well. For example, you could provide a $1,000 annual scholarship to the student who shows a desire to involve themselves in the Green Industry - the student who intends to go on and study horticulture or intends (or already owns a green industry business), etc...

as a high school student i think that it would be a great thing. in my high school(i live in a high to do town) i am kinda put down told that it is not good enough to be in the green industry. they have programs for all kinds of things but not in the more blue collar if you would call it that industry. now i don't care i love this kind ofwork and i wont to go to school for it but the school doesn't seem to appreciate it. they wont to have us go to become doctors and lawyers im just ranting but i think it is great idea if i make it i and have money i would give as much as possible to a program like that.
