What i would be looking for in a skid steer would be weight, power, lifting capacity. The new Deere's are pretty sweet

Look at Cat Skid steers. You can get them reasonably from catused.com. Our Cat 236b with 560 hours was $16,000 and included a set of forks from the cat dealer.

5 or 6 jobs with it a year doesn't justify sitting around at home anymore when I can make more money and keep more in my pocket working for someone else and not having a payment on a machine and all the other expenses for the support equipment i.e trailer, truck, fuel, rental, insurance.
Another reason is I would average 500 hours yearly, now I get 100 per year.
