Tip Of The Day - 1/4/06 - All or Nothing

Was reading one of the more nteresting, and at time, entertaining books I own - "TRUMP - The Way To The Top" which is made up of short insights and anecdotes from industry leaders about what has made them successful...

Here's a funny one...but still a good message

"My mentor, Gunter Petz, once said: "Half drunk is a waste of money." If you are going to do something, do it right with 100% commitment."

- Leon Dreimann, CEO of Salton, Inc.

The message here is pretty simple in my opinion - you get out what you put in. If you give 50% effort you are going to get 50% results. Once you have made up your mind to do something, do it right, go full tilt so there are no regrets and no chance of you some day looking back saying.... "shoulda, woulda, coulda"

Not sure why people are in love with Trump. The guy files bankruptcy ever few years on some of his properties all the while starting other new projects.
No one mentions about the shareholders losing out.

If it was anyone else people would tell you to go to money management counseling. He is a PT Barnum self promoter with a lot of suckers out their buying into to his game.
Have a Great Day.
Life is too short for a bad day.
