Follow the label, if the label is missing get a new one from your chem supplier. Remember it is illegal to have a unlabled pesticide, you could lose your licence or be fined.

lee, most liquid broadleaf weed controls need to be on the plant for 24 hrs. (rain fast for 24 hrs.)
some times mother nature works againsed us. i have seen momentum work ok after its on the plant for 4 hrs. then it rained. if you think there is a chance of showers then add a little sticker in the mix. ant |

Use a spreader sticker with it! I have sprayed momentum with a sticker added 2 hours before a unforcasted rain and the weeds still died!

Using surf King surfactant-penetrant , I have actually finished lawns in a sprinkle rain, leading to a thunderstorm in an hour and had decent results. on a new bad lawn, you'll need two app's anyway. Remember- true STICKERS are for insecticides on trees-not turf. Penetrants like surf king are made for turf. If they can penetrate the plant quickly, they work. All Stickers are water soluble. WE MIX THEM WITH WATER! WHY WOULDN'T RAIN WASH THEM? dAVE

Good question dave I have been in the business for a while and never thought to cheak on the reason. Although latex paint is also water soluble, untill dry.
