Best Methods for leaf cleanup

Hey!
We have a five acre condo project that will include spring and fall cleanup. I am looking for input on the best way to do leaf cleanup.

We have two backpack blowers, tractors and z-turns. I am considering renting a lawn vac in the spring and purchasig equipment for the fall.

Any suggestions?

Depends on the amount of leaves but you may be able to mulch them. I have heard the Meg-mo blades turn them into dust. Do a search on leaf clean ups and meg-mo's and see what you think. I generaly just use Echo backpacks and tarps but the areas were on mostly on gravel lawns and not nearly that large. For turf area just genrally sucked them up with the mowers collection unit and since it had a hydrallic lift, dumped them into a trailer.

I use walker mowers. I blow everything into the grass or street and mow over vaccuming everything up. Monkey grass, prunings, leaves, ect.. It save a huge amount of time. One other thing the walker will not do is blow clippings in mulch. Makes clean up very fast.

i just use 3 back pack blowers and charge $45 per man hour. then tarp them and dump them in my dump trailer that i have a cage built that will hold about 25cu yards and then i charge $200 a load to haul off to i buddies farm 20 miles away from the city where i burn them once i get a pretty big pile. I have a few 5 to 7 acre town house developments that have mature trees and i useually bill them from $1300 to $3500 to do a clean up.
