Why not buy a small truck and have someone make you a bed for it off the pictures from here?

Yeah, honestly it's not that hard.... There are tons of bed fabrication companies out there...
Or, just bring the photo's to your local welder and say "Can you do it?"

The only thing is I wouldn't want it welded on. I'd want it bolted on so I can transfer it to future trucks.

Any decent fabricator should be able to do that for you. I don't own a metal cutter or a welder and by pictures alone I could fabricate it. The welds wouldn't look pretty but it would be functional.

Does anyone have plans for one of these pickup truck beds?

I have a guy who is capable of building it for sure, but I know it would save a lot of time having plans instead of starting from scratch.

also, has anyone had one of these made, or know someone who makes them close to VA?

thanks

and the other is servicing Oklahoma

There are a lot of people in my area that simply want to keep the city off their back and don't care what their lawn looks like. "Just mowit and leave me alone" attitude. However, if you are familiar with the area (I am) you will realize their prices are not that far off for the service they do.

But remember, someone will ALWAYS do it cheaper, no matter how cheap you are. That to me is a risky business model.

Yup the mowing managers are owned by justmowing.
I think I have a man crush...On a business model.

Lawn jockey do you know of anyone who has one of these fabricated trucks for sale? Seeing as how you use them?

No one sells these. We just take them off and put them on another truck. bolted to frame. Any welder can build these. Just make sure your welder will paint it too. Expect to pay $2000

Does the welder just get the parts from used trailer beds?
